Hello, I am currently a 7th/8th Grade Social Studies Teacher at Tri-Valley School and my wife is the 9-12 Art Teacher at Tri-Valley. I am the Boys Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach and the Head Boys and Girls Golf Coach. I love to be outdoors and am an avid hunter in the fall and used to play a full competitive softball schedule in the summer. I received my Master's in Education/History in May 2011.
In 2007 my softball team won a state championship, our second since 2002, and in 2008 we placed 4th. If I wasn't playing softball a couple nights a week during the summer and on the weekends in tournaments you would more than likely still find me on a diamond somewhere else watching my family play. During the summer I also love to read books and will read anywhere from 12-24 a summer. If I wasn't playing softball on the weekends it was because I was either traveling following my children's sports or traveling and seeing the world.
I enjoy playing the Xbox and other video games just like all of you. Once fall gets here though my mind turns to hunting. I used to represent a waterfowl call company and I love to be out waterfowl hunting more than anything. There is just something about those ducks and geese. I also have a waterfowl dog, a Chesapeake Retriever.
My family is most important to me and I love just spending time with them while either having them participate in the activities I love to do, or participating in their activities. Every two years I lead a group of kids to the East Coast where we visit the cities of Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston. I very much enjoy taking kids and their families to those places and showing them all the sites. On the years in between I am traveling with my wife's groups internationally helping to lead kids and their families to different places around the world. We are definitely world travelers!
